Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step to your login: after your password, you enter a rotating code from an authenticator app on your phone. Even if someone learns your password, they can’t sign in without your phone.

Turn it on

1. Go to Account → Security and start setting up 2FA.

2. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, or similar).

3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm, and it’s on.

From then on, you’ll enter a code from your app each time you sign in.

Keep a way back in

Store your authenticator setup somewhere safe (many apps let you back it up). If you lose access to your authenticator, contact support to recover your account.
